This is a well-regarded show that features some remarkable playing, such as...

-the last 'Here Comes Sunshine' until the 90s, and a version which currently sits in the #2 position all-time (behind 12/19/73) over at headyversion.com

-the nice, jazzy melodicism of Jerry's soloing on Eyes

-the final jam on the 'Let it Grow' portion of the WRS that features playing more reminiscent of a Playin' Space than the urgent, Mexicali-in-overdrive jamming typical of that spot

-and a fine rendition of 'Promised Land'

And there's plenty more!

As with this whole Feb. '74 Winterland run, the sound quality is quite good.

Hey merryjerry;

The Here Comes Sunshine really does get going!
(I wish they would have connected that up with the Weather Report Suite once in awhile -it seems like such a natural combo)

Nice first set ---Ship of Fools

Bertha > Greatest

2nd set opens- Row, Weather Report Suite> Stella
and the jam from Let it Grow to Stella is mighty intense!

Great soundboard.

HCS>WRS, indeed. I can picture that one.
